Collection: Stephanie Flier

Stephanie Flier is a printmaker who enjoys primarily using relief printing to depict scenes from nature, sometimes incorporating perishable natural objects and using materials from the past.  Many of her prints are an intersection of traditional printmaking techniques and experimentation with mixed mediums and found materials such as vintage ephemera and foraged natural objects.  She calls Long Beach, Mississippi “home,” but has also lived in the Houston, Texas area where she earned her BFA in Studio Art from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.  She currently lives in Huntsville, Alabama, where she has a studio at Lowe Mill A&E from which she operates Delta Dogwood Studio. She loves being surrounded by the biodiversity and abundant natural beauty in the area.
