Thomas Wells
Thomas Wells was born in Vicksburg and raised in Batesville, MS. He has been taking photographs since he was in High School and spent years in the studio mastering lighting techniques. Thomas received his Bachelors Degree in Journalism from The University of Mississippi He is now an award winning photojournalist from the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal and loves photographing objects that are disappearing before our very eyes.
Thomas loves Black and White photography because it relies on pure exposure and composition. Nature and still life are what he finds most challenging, due to waiting for the perfect day and light to get that right shot. He believes photography can be our time machine in freezing the moment that will never come again, as well as a look back in time years later.
