A
native of Northeast, Ms, Sandra’s educational background includes a Bachelor of
Arts degree from Elmhurst College, Elmhurst, Illinois. She studied oil and acrylic
painting in Chicago and Atlanta, and began to focus full attention on
watercolor medium in 1992.
Sandra has completed numerous watercolor courses and workshops taught by national and internationally recognized painters and instructors, including: Frank Webb, Tony Couch, Don Andrews, Ron Ranson, Alvaro Castagnet, Franh Francese, Alex Powers, Tony Van Hasselt, Paul Jackson, Skip Lawrence, and Eric Weigardt.
Additional studies include: Drawing at the Memphis College of Art, and watercolor at Watkins School of Art and Design, Nashville, Tn.

Sandra is a “Signature Member” of the Mississippi, Tennessee and Kentucky Watercolor Societies, and has also been Awarded “Platinum Star Artist” status by the Memphis-Germantown Art League. (This is recognition established by MGAL to acknowledge members who have won multiple awards in national and regional juried art exhibits).
